Welcome back to a brand-new school year at the Harrisburg High School, John Harris Campus, “Home of the Mighty Cougars!” We are looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year! As we begin this new chapter together, I am filled with excitement and optimism for all that we will accomplish as one community. 

A new school year brings new opportunities to learn, build relationships, and achieve great things. It is a fresh start, a chance to set new goals, embrace new challenges, and continue to create a school culture where all students and staff feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. 

Our team has been working hard over the summer to make sure we are ready for you!  For those of you who are new to the building, welcome!  For those of you who are returning, welcome back!  Our motto this year is “We Love What We Do!”  This year, we will remain focused on academic excellence, positive school culture, student engagement, and preparing every student for beyond graduation. As a community we will let nothing interfere with our quest for mental liberation, academic achievement, and community togetherness. As we open our doors for another exciting year, let us embrace each day with enthusiasm, kindness, and a shared commitment to making this our best year yet! Every interaction matters. Every lesson matters. Every student matters. Every staff member matters!  We will discuss the meaning of our motto often, and our actions will demonstrate that we are committed to supporting all stakeholders on the path of success.
